A mod aircraft called Infinity Ranger MK2. Built with 125 of the finest parts, its root part is MK2 Cockpit. KSP version 1.0.4.
Infinity ranger MK2 SSTO , 25.4T at take off is equipped with Scansat and Karbonite scanners.
4 Karbonite drills - 2 in the cargo hold and 2 in the service bay- and 1 converter make this SSTO completely independent of any external refinery or tank for refuelliing.
A strong inside electric network including 2 Z1-K battery banks and 8 PB NUK generators allow drilling Karbonite and converting simultaneously to Fuel or Oxy.
9 Inside Radial HeatSinks Size 1 from Porkwork provide heat management for body and engines. 4 tweakscaled (0.625) Inside Radial HeatSinks size 1 provide supplementary heat management for nuclear Engines.
It’s all automatic. Nuclear engines can run for hours without heating. Pilot does not have to deal with electricity or heating in any situation, just forget it
Heat management has been tested on re entry to 3200m/s on aerobraking Kerbin periapsis of 43 km, and is got some good margin.
RC 001S guidance unit allow no crew flight.
An incredible OPT J61 Turbo ramjet single engine allow extreme mach at very high altitude provided you get enough speed under 15km and open all Air intakes.

4 tweakscaled nuclear Lightbulb engines from Atomic Age, mounted on tweakscaled rework Hinges from «.Zodiusinfuser.» allow vertical flight and transfer on low gravity planet as well as interplanetary transfer.
They provide enough DV to perform polar orbit to scan and find Karbonite. You can then choose the right spot to land, mine an refuel.
They are balanced for vertical flight and for horizontal flight. You can transit from vertical to horizontal while in flight and use a mix of vertical and horizontal flight playing with the hinges
Scanners and drillers are mounted on tweakscaled hinges and adjustable rail from infernal robotics.
Drillers fill an empty Karbonite tank which is part of the main forward fuel tank.
Infernal robotics button allow access to the panel to move Hinges for nuclear engines and to move adjustable rail and hinges that command Scanner and drills.
Preset values for vertical and horizontal flight have been entered to provide easy flight, COM nearly not moving during fuel consumption.
Preset value are also set for deployment of Karbonite drillers.
From Kerbin orbit at 100km, Infinity Ranger MK2 will leave you with 4650 DV.
Oxy tank is only for 2 vernor engines on the cockpit that allow longitudinal control for vertical flight, even if the plane is perfectly balanced and you won’t need TCA mod to practice vertical flight.
MK1 difference: T/O weight 23T8 - 7 underskin heatsinks - 3 karbonite drillers
Atomic Bulb engines and Radial heatsinks for engines have been tweak scaled using tweak scale mod.
You will need to create a folder for this in the Patches folder from Tweakscale mod.
OPT engine can be tweak scaled as well if you create a folder for that also.
Afterburner is not necessary, but is provided with kerbokatz small utilities, provided you create an afterburner part for OPT J61 in the afterburner.cfg file, which is very easy.
On take off, air intakes are open, except the OPT air intakes, you have to select them on the engine and open them. Then they will shut and open with the engine.
Climb as quick as possible to 15km without stalling the engine, begins VS 50 and ends VS 150-170, then build speed VS 75 up to M4 to be at 20km with M4.8 and VS 200, then increase VS to 300
Light nuclear engines around 33kms and let the OPT ramjet switch off by himself, then cut it to shut down its own air intakes and hit 2 to close all other air intakes
