You just have to launch this 30T ship to orbit to get full use of its 10000DV.
It is perfectly balanced, the COM does not move with fuel consumption.
You can use the Torquemada Short MK IV cargo i built for this. AESV for autonomous exploration science vehicle and LG for Low gravity planet like Mun
Its 4 tweakscaled nuclear lightbulb engines from Atomic Age give it 10400 DV which allow very long interplanetary transfert far beyond Jool.
They are vectored with Hinges from Infernal Robotics that allow horizontal flight as well as vertical flight over low gravity planet surface for exploration.
Hovering has never been so easy with the preset values.
It is perfectly balanced and easy to pilot in any mod.
An underskin network of Radial heatsinks coupled with 4 deployable radiators provide a super heat management.
Tested up to 3250m/s on Kerbin re-entry
Its 4 Karbonite mini drills coupled with a Converter leave it free from any refueling station or refinery, provided you have send a ship to scan for Karbonite and map the planet you want to explore.
An internal electric network working automatically leaves you free with all maneuvers needing electricity, even when engines not running.
8 repackables chutes allow a Kerbin landing tested at full weight (9m/s).
Anyway dumpers from Smarparts are coupled with chutes and will run automatically when you deploy chutes to jettisson all fuel.
You can add more science stuff, but be careful for good balancing.
You can even tweakscale the engines if you need but you will have to build a file for the Nuclearbulb engines from Porwork as they are not included in the Tweakscale mod.
Dockable if you need.
All science stuff resettable via ladders.
