The Saturn INT-21 was a variation of the Saturn V rocket that simply removed the S-IVB third stage and moved its guidance unit to the SII second stage. It never officially flew but its design, without the designation, served as the lifter for US space station, Skylab. The Sarnus INT-21 is the Sarnus V with the third stage removed and I’ve included a makeshift station similar in form and function to Skylab.
The first stage, the powerful S-IC, will get your payload into the edge of space and should be ejected along with your fairings above 55km or any time before you begin your orbital circularization burn. The second stage will handle the circularization but can also be used to boost the station into your desired final orbit.
The Caelum Orbital Laboratory has no on-board engines although its onboard RCS can make finer adjustments as needed. Much like its inspiration Skylab it is designed to dock with a single Kane CSM available in many of my other Sarnus builds.
Picture album pending due to technical difficulties.
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.3.0.
