In preparation for the planned Apollo landings there were a number of probe programs meant to study potential landing sites, map out the lunar surface, and shed light on lunar geology. The Lunar Orbiter program, a series of five successful probes, provided the first lunar surface photographs including high resolution mapping of future landing sites. The Munar Orbiter is my approximation of the Lunar Orbiter probes built around BDB’s Lunar Orbiter probe core.

The probe is largely a mock-up in sandbox mode but covers most of the important aspects of the actual Lunar Orbiter including four fixed solar panels, both dish and omni-directional antennae for photograph transmission, and a small self-contained monopropellent engine to adjust the probe’s orbital parameters.

The launch vehicle of a Muo (Atlas) rocket with the stage-and-a-half handling the ascent and circularization while the Belle-D (Agena-D) upper stage handles the TMI (Trans Munar Injection) burn and possibly also the MOI (Munar Orbital Insertion) burn. If you are planning on a higher orbit the probe’s on-board engine can potentially put you in munar orbit as well thus allowing you to eject the upper stage earlier.
