Description
Built to compete for a Navy VTOL competition, rival with the Convair XFY Pogo, it was powered by contra-rotating propellers. However while it met its objective of VTOL, its development stalled as it waited for a more powerful engine to make it more capable, and eventually the entire program was cancelled in favor of jet aircraft in general.
A stock aircraft called Lockheed XFV Salmon. Built with 112 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark2Cockpit.
