Description
The F-15 Global Strike Eagle was a proposed orbital launch system composed of repurposed F-15 with a 45 foot (14 meter) rocket strapped to the back, designed to be able to quickly and cheaply launch small satelites as the need arose, as a counter to potential ASAT weapons being used.
The proposal called for making the F-15 remotely piloted, as the rocket would have prevented an ejection in case of emergency.
It was never built.
A stock aircraft called F-15GSE Global Strike Eagle. Built with 51 of the finest parts, its root part is mk2SpacePlaneAdapter.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.12.3.
