Description
The Caspian Sea Monster or ekranoplan was an experimental ground effect vehicle created by the soviet union during the cold war. The purpose of this craft was to be able to get tanks and cargo across large bodies of water extremely fast. To do so, the craft could reach a speed of 311 mph and could use ground effect to fly above just above the water for short distances. My craft recreation can reach 81 m/s and can fly for much longer distances if gimbaling is free on the front engines. This craft can also carry two to three rovers without a problem.
A stock aircraft called Caspian Sea Monster Mk-1. Built with 169 of the finest parts, its root part is mk3CargoRamp. Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.0.5.
