Description
How do you fit a large size mining rig onto a low rider motorbike and still get it into a MK2 cargo bay?
While building a low rider motorcycle, the engineers placed a heavy mining rig on top for a post-apocolyptic look. While performing a pop-up wheelie maneuver, the rig started rumbling wildy &, to the engineer’s horror, discovered that it had deployed. Several days later after finally figuring out how to cut the power, they discovered its muffler had jammed with a coal like substance known as ore. As a minor post script in the engineer’s report, it was mentioned that the bike could fit in an MK2 cargo bay, drill & all. Simply extend the bike’s docking wheels then crush the motorbike underneath by retracting the spaceplane’s landing gear. May require lots of fidgiting around to get it to dock. Motorbike operates autonomously or crewed to get that extra mining efficiency bonus.¨¨It gets blazingly fast speeds at all altitudes during ascent but alas its heavy rover payload denies it SSTA capabilities which means orbital refuelling is required to reach other muns or planets.
A stock aircraft called big rig lowrider. Built with 79 of the finest parts, its root part is mk2CargoBayL.
Docking the motorbike remotely through the probe core is recommended for survivability, not to mention the kerbal’s noggin will get spared the inevitable bang in the cargo bay ceiling.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.4.3.
