Avro CF105 Arrow, a plane ahead of her time. Commissioned by Canadian government for the purpose of intercepting soviet bomber. She needed speed for her job, everything about the design was to push for more speed, tailless delta-wing to reduce wave-drag, a revolutionary design for her time.
She managed a top speed of Ma 1.9 in her first test flight, way beyond the design requirement and it wasn’t even her full potential. The project was cancelled before she got a chance to push her limit and/or break world records in following test flights.
A mod aircraft called CF-105. Built with 98 of the finest parts, its root part is Mk1FuselageStructural.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.2.0.
