A stock aircraft called J.R.R. prototype. Built with 62 questionable parts, its root part is Mark2Cockpit.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.0.4.
Look! In the sky! It’s a jet! It’s a rocket! It’s a rover! It’s a jet rocket rover!
Getting out there is easy. Activate all jets and pitch to 20 degrees. Switch to closed cycle when you start to slow down.
Undock the core and enable the fuel tanks in low Kerbin orbit for maximum delta v!
Landing the rover requires flipping at the last second. Try to find a slope for takeoff.
Some improvements could be made to landing. Docking requires eyeballing it. Ballasting and RCS seems to be necessary for landing.
I hope this prototype inspires more refined creations in the
no part left behind category. Fly safe!
Probably requires Kerbal Joint Reinforcement.
