A stock aircraft called XT-18. Built with 237 of the finest parts, its root part is mk3CrewCabin.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.2.2.
This is an updated version of my old one and is now able to fly. Thanks to Lemcal_kerman for ideas. (link below to his version)
This is a pretty heavy aircraft for one that is powered by stock electric props (4 engines, 4 propellers, 20 small inline reaction wheels each) so its performance isn’t great but it can do everything it needs. Its top speed is around 90m/s, ceiling is around 4500m and stall speed is roughly 50m/s. Its got a pretty long take off run but needs very little space to land.
To start the engines, press 0 (action group 10) to detach them from the aircraft. then use [ and ] to switch to them. you need to trim them so that they are turning. use Alt E to trim the two front propellers and Alt Q to trim the two rear propellers. this should get the craft rolling forwards. Make sure SAS is off on each engine. I would suggest putting on the breaks on the main craft before starting the engines to stop it rolling and possibly swerving off the runway.

Don't forget, people build craft at all skill levels, just 'cos something is 'newbish' doesn't mean it needs hatin'.
