Description

Isla heavy launch vehicle. Carries approx. 80t of payload into LKO.

Root part (SYfairingBase5mP) is set so that you can load it as a subassembly to add to a pre-designed payload.

Launch procedures:

1. pitch to 85deg at 100m/s (initiate gravity turn);
2. set auto to pro-grade (auto gravity turn from here);
3. depending on the weight of your payload you might want to reduce throttle at 250m/s to 2/3rds until 400m/s is reached;
4. MECO should occur around 36 000m. Initiate 1st stage separation;
5. If you followed the previous instructions, your apoapsis ideally is at 70-80k. Next set a maneuver node for orbital insertion;
6. execute orbital insertion and initiate SECO. Congrats, your precious payload now has reached LKO ;-)
