A successor to my previous upload (Asteroid Redirect II), the Asteroid Redirect V (Yes, skipped III and IV).
Updates and improvements: Almost half the launch weight at 245.5 tons (from 472.6 tons). A more compact final stage with added RCS thrusters and vernor engines for better control over the asteroid in tow. Launch cost is almost half the price at 106k (from 208k).
Concept remains the same: Have an asteroid in tow, drill its resources, and convert the ore into useable fuel and monoprop. Solar arrays maintain electricity but a fuel cell array is provided as a backup. All utilities can be used simultaneously.
Launch normally (Scott Manley style in one of his Kerbal 1.0.2 tutorials). Built in version 1.0.2
