Description

¨¨The CF-100 Canuck was a Canadian made and mass-produced all-weather interceptor that was in service in the 60s and 70s. It was designed to patrol Canada’s north, and incorporated some ground-breaking technology, such as de-icing capabilities, to accomplish this task. It was known affectionately by its crews as the Clunk, due to the sound its front landing gear made when retracted, as well as the poor manoeverability, reproduced here. ¨¨The aircraft is also notable for being the first straight-winged aircraft to accomplish Mach 1, doing this in an unauthorized dive by a test pilot, as well as being the only Canadian-designed fighter to see mass production. Today, many CF-100s are visible as lawn ornaments for Canadian Forces Bases, and various parks across the country. A park version is included

A stock aircraft called CF-100 Canuck Mk. II on a Stick. Built with 81 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark2Cockpit.

This is the stick version

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.0.0.
