The Griffin Heavy is the largest version of the Griffin family. This heavy lift rocket is capable of placing the heaviest of payloads into a Low Kerbin orbit.

The Griffin Heavy is compromised of 3 Griffin AX cores and an ACUS Mk2 Upper Stage.

The Heavy also introduces a new feature, cross-feed fuel flow. This allows the centre core to be fully fuelled when the side boosters separate. This feature is best used when launching a smaller payload because when the side boosters separate then total thrust is reduced from 6000 kN to just 2000 kN. When launching the heaviest of payloads it is advised to remove the cross-feed and reduce the thrust level of the centre core. This setup allows a higher thrust level throughout a larger portion of the launch.
A stock rocket called ‘Griffin Heavy’. Built with 102 of the finest parts, its root part is Decoupler.1.

Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.4.3.
