The CF-2B Adv is the an upgraded version of the CF-2B. The main difference between the versions is the addition of a rear docking port to allow a ACUS Mk2 Upper Stage to dock and undock. The ACUS Mk2 separates from the spacecraft after placing it into a parking orbit, it then rendezvous with a propellant depot before then rendezvousing with the CF-2B Adv before burning onto a Trans Munar Orbit. The other change from the regular CF-2B is the replacement of the LV-909 ‘Terrier’ Engine with the trusted 4 48-7S ‘Spark’ Engines. This change was necessary because of the placement of the rear docking port.
