WW2 German rocket-powered interceptor. Komet would launch, ejecting its gear dolly. Rocket would propel the Komet into the air - it would then fall through enemy formations, firing, glide home, and skid-land on its belly. Fly at your own risk!
Every effort has been made to make this model true to the original. As such, like its namesake, this model is a deathtrap. AedsPlanes accept no responsibility for the deaths of brave kerbal pilots flying this ludicrous plane - blame Messerschmitt, and the increasingly deranged minds of their masters.
Also please note… the Me-163 would eject its launch-gear dolly as it left the runway, so if you have any hopes of returning safely to the ground, you’ll be performing a skid-landing on the plane’s belly (yes, it IS possible without blowing it up). Best of luck with that!
Built with 45 parts, exactly to scale, using systems, weapons and colour scheme as appropriate as possible.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.1.3.
AedsPlanes are replicas of historic aircraft built as accurately as possible, and usually to 1:1 scale. Enjoy the experience of being a real Kerbal Airforce pilot!
