Description

A stock rocket called Challenge 44. Built with 57 of the finest parts, its root part is mk1pod.

Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.2.2.

It had to go to the mun, separate while in an escape trajectory, land the lander on the mun, plant a flag, take off, meet with the other part of the rocket, and go back to Kerbin. I tried to make the rocket simple and small. No mods were used other than Kerbal Engineer.

Action Groups:
1: toggle solar pannels
2: undock
3: forward engines on the lander
4: reverse engine on the lander

Improvements that could be made:
1: reduce the amount of ablator from 200 to 120
2: remove the monopropellent from the capsule

I left it like this because this is the form it was in when I completed the challenge.
