Early Career Suborbital Tourism Rocket
Designed to lower the cost of suborbital tourism this no-frills unguided rocket will bring 18 tourists to the edge of space and
safely back to the surface. Along the way the lucky tourists will experience excitement, bone crushing g-forces, microgravity, screaming, more bone-crushing g-forces and a barely survivable landing.
Built to Hard Career safety standards (and budgetary constraints) this rocket is equipped with innovative reliability features such as No Pilot Error Due to No Control, Retained SRB Airbrakes™ and a Strategic Launch Clamp That Tips The Rocket Slightly East So It Probably Won’t Crash Into Mountains. These safety features combined ensure the passengers survive the trip to pay you. Just don’t forget to deploy the chutes.
Somewhere between 60% and 80% of the cost is recoverable resulting in a cost per seat of ~150 spesos and a 99% profit margin on suborbital tourism contracts.
- Two Spacebar flight profile: Once to launch, once to deploy chutes.
- Totally 4x physics warp compatible, both on ascent and descent.
- No VAB upgrade required, only 1 launchpad upgrade required.
- Type: VAB
- Class: ship
- Part Count: 23
- Pure Stock
