Description
The SNECMA C.450 Coléoptère was a French VTOL concept from the 1950’s.
As with many VTOL prototypes from that era, it used the tail-sitter design to land.
This KSP model recreates various aspects of the aircraft (deliberately or not), like the difficult handling, tricky landing, as well as the original method of being transported and deployed by a truck.
Action Groups
2: Lower/raise grabbing unit
3: Open/close grabbing unit

1: Change engine mode
Use spacebar/staging to unlock the hinges before moving them.
Turn SAS on to fly and especially to land.
Wet engine mode recommended for landing.
It is also recommended to turn SAS off on the VTOL before grabbing it back with the truck.
