Description
Made with all new components discovered as Jebediah spilled a cup of coffee into the polymer fabricator, the Knat Mk 2 is almost a new model. Using the basic airframe from the Mk 1, this craft has a two-pilot cockpit and can reach speeds of up to Mach 1.7 once the drop tanks are jettisoned. This version is unarmed.
A mod aircraft called Kersplat Knat Mk 2. Built with 59 of the finest parts, its root part is quizTechMk1EagleCockpit.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.0.4.
Additional information:
The Mk 2 is highly maneuverable and has a slow stall speed (15m/s) during the testing. Can handle tight turns and high gs. For some reason, the steering is reversed, so as you are taxiing on the runway, keep this in mind. The unidentified parts
are the mini-air brakes mod available through Kerbalstuff.
I decided not to wait for the B9 Aerospace Mod to release this craft. Maybe once B9 is released I will do a Mk 3…
