Your Multi-Role Fighter of choice!

Overview

The MRF (Multi Role Fighter) is a medium sized, jet powered aircraft developed by the engineers at DLA Aerospace with the capability to engage in Air to Air, Air to Ground and Electronic Warfare missions.
This strike fighter can be converted to carry multiple types of armament under it’s wings. Inside the fairing that gives the nose cone it’s distinctive shape hides a powerful radar to help locate and engage targets beyond visual range (BVR combat).

Performance

Here are some stats for this plane:

-1 afterburning Panther turbojet engine (no gimbal) provides a power to weight ratio of 0.9
fully loaded and 1.2 without armament (just fuel).

-Top speed ranges from Mach 1.3 @sea level to Mach 2.7 @12000m.

-Highly maneuverable, but might go into a high-speed stall if pushed too hard and overloaded.

-Includes a powerful cannon mounted in the forward fuselage, just aft of the cockpit above the port intake. It has 32 shots available to knock out tanks and other ground vehicles.

-A flare dispenser is also mounted under the rudder with 8 flares to drive away heat-seeking missiles.

Concluding Thoughts

Overall, it looks pretty good. It’s fast, powerful, maneuverable and has decent range, but I’m still not sure exactly how far this thing can fly. It has a firework cannon and flares, which just keeps this thing fun to fly even after you’ve dropped your bombs.

I haven’t uploaded any craft for quite a while now, but I’m hoping to find some time to start working again. I’ve got plenty of ideas on what I should build next. Stay tuned and have fun!
