Your all-round Micro Aerobat!
.
I once thought: What if I can create a small aircraft, with the ability to gimbal the engines, just like the larger ones?
Here is the product of my brainstorm:
A small, lightweight plane capable of performing very complex aerobatic maneuvers and fly at low airspeeds. It has STOL (Short Take Off and Landing) capability, thanks to large flaperons on the main wings, as well as big control surfaces.
But I think the thing that completely changes it from a humble little jet to a snappy, aerobatic, high performance airplane is my implementation of thrust vectoring to the Juno engines.
.
Side Note: Only the central engines can gimbal.
I achieved this through using the Breaking Ground hinges, two for roll and two for pitch. Two KAL-1000 controllers are used to program the hinges to the Pitch and Roll action groups.
.
Flight Testing
-The plane at first didn’t have a lot of power, so I added two wingtip engines (no gimbal)
-It used to have canards, but those were too touchy. I ended up removing them.
-The plane performs most standard aerobatic maneuvers with ease, especially flatspins. Those are possibly the most fun thing to do with this plane.

The Acro-X V2 has now released, check it out!
A stock aircraft called Acro-X. Built with 49 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark2Cockpit.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.12.5.
Jeb takes off to practice his aerobatic routine.
This interesting view shows the TVC in action.
Jeb banks the plane around for the final landing approach.
I hope all these pictures can give you a sense of how fun this thing is to fly. The thrust vectoring makes it a little twitchy at high speed, but otherwise it’s a blast!
