Description
The F-140 Komet is one of the fastest fighter interceptors on Kerbin. It’s been described as an engine with wings by a number of pilots around the world. It’s also been described as a brick when it comes to manuvering…. It’s crazy speed should be able to make up for that however. The F-140 got is nickname from early test flights without a thrust limiter installed. In those early days the craft would get fast enough to start tearing the skin off the craft, casting a long plume of smoke and sparks, like a komet.
