Description
Carrying 12 landers capable of landing on any non-atmospheric heavenly body, these Flat Stanley Landers can do preliminary exploration of new planets and moons before you send your craziest Kerbalnauts to be objectives in future rescue missions. The stages have been painstakingly sequenced to shed landers from the front upon your remote command. Powered by four Spark engines, their combined 72 KiloNewtons of thurst exceeds a single Terrier, coupled to a lightweight 5.725 tons wet, results in a scrappy little lander that is capable of lifting off from Kerbin. The aerodynamic nosecones are staged; ideally you should detach them after you reach your first Kerbin apoapsis, but before your first circularization. Delta Vee clocks out at 1200+, allowing you to perform complex maneuvers to the most difficult biome locations. A clamp-o-tron docking port senior resides between the propulsion and payload stages, allowing shipment to the most remote scientific locations for exploitation.
