Description

An uncomfortably compact rover designed specifically to deploy and load itself into the cargo hold of a small Mk3-based SSTO. Able to collect any kind of science data and refuel landed vessels reasonably quickly.

A stock aircraft called Compact Support Vehicle. Built with 61 of the finest parts, its root part is MiniISRU.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.12.3.

Notes

• This rover was designed as a companion to my SP-9 Poleaxe, replacing the much lamer rover it previously carried.

• It’s capabilities nearly match Deployable Support Vehicle despite being almost half the size.

• Action group 9 toggles the rover’s fuel cells and locks/unlocks it’s legs for transport. Advanced tweakables may be required.

• Action group 3 deploys drills and radiators.

• The KAL Controller labelled Legs can be used to raise the rover back into position inside a cargo bay

• Thermals hold out indefinitely with max level engineer aboard
