Description
Armament:
4 x 20mm Cannon (M39 Cannon)
Payload:
6 x 19x70mm Rockets (LAU-3/A)
4 x AIM-9 Sidewinder Missiles
3000lb (1400kg) of Bombs over 6 hardpoints.
When unloaded, the aircraft is relatively maneuverable and is capable of carrying it’s prescribed weight-limit very well. Pushing the payload limits severely hampers acceleration and maneuverability past 4000lb (overload). Note that hard-points are not included.
Creating a Sabre-like aircraft was challenging in terms of getting the airframe relatively right, along with the uniquely-shaped frontal air-intake. The FJ-4B was more forgiving in shape in this aspect, as some the fuselage was lifted off of the A-1 Skyraider I have created.
A mod aircraft called FJ-4B. Built with 59 of the finest parts, its root part is trussPiece1x.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.2.2.
