Description

.
Testbed number 2. x)
.
Top speed of 132m/s ASL, don’t expect it to get there in a flash, though.
powered by 4 separate stock engines, housed in two large fairings with two contra rotating propeller heads per fairing. Torque and vibration is non-existent.
.
Probably the single most beautiful plane I’ve made so far, this thing is soo smooth and easy to fly the long start up time is actually worth it.
This is the second fastest aircraft I’ve posted yet, however if you strip this down and get rid of the unnecessary aesthetic parts I have no doubts this would be the fastest aircraft I’ve ever made.
.
all four propeller blades have two different modes, toggleable with action groups to switch between normal flight (up to about 92m/s) and long distance flight (up to 132m/s).
.
Using the long distance mode doesn’t provide much thrust at low speeds and isn’t recommended under 80m/s. Use the coarser pitch for climbing and maneuvers.
.
I feel I should mention that this aircraft is 0.6m wider and 2m longer than the real life version, never even knew the dimensions of the real thing until after I was done :D
.
A stock aircraft called Hughes XF-11. Built with 605 of the finest parts, its root part is fairingSize1.
