Taking the feedback and such that yall gave me on the first version of this, I decided to fix up the craft a bit and eliminate some of the minor (and major) bugs that were bothering me before thinking of uploading any new planes.
The prop now has almost a 0% failure rate, has 2 different pitch presets and is more powerful.
The elevators no longer require the forward canards to move as well, and so only the rear elevators move, as it would in real life.
The air scoop on the engine’s shoulder has been shrunk to resemble the real Bf 109 a bit more.
Flaps were actually added.
Extra struts were removed (I started to use autostruts… finally)
Lastly, the shape of the fuselage that rests just behind the cabin
was altered a wee bit to fit the more powerful propeller engine.
Although the new engine only increases the maximum speed to 76 m/s on the flat, while using the higher torque setting on the propeller as you would to takeoff you can climb at almost 45 degrees up to 2000m.
A stock aircraft called BF-109E-2. Built with 164 of the finest parts, its root part is Mk1FuselageStructural.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.3.0.
