Description

The story of this craft is a bit special, as it was my first ever to reach Laythe, and also as I really wanted to honor the legendary Cassini-Huygens mission.
To succeed in its flight, the Titan IV B inspired launcher had to be re-motorized with two Vector, and some Kickback more, and now is more than able to accomplish its role perfectly. Even a little too much.
To enjoy its power, another probe was added to the payload which is now consisting in: a main probe (Cassini), to which a small lander is coupled (Huygens), and a scanning probe.
In this way, Laythe Explorer can perform a medium altitude survey with her own scanner, at the same time Laythe Orbiter can take care of the high altitude scanning, and Laythe Explorer Lander can be dropped to gain some points (in the case you never land on the atmospheric planet before).

Also, to imitate Cassini, Laythe Explorer is under-powered as well. Her two Ants giving some terrible results when a hard breaking maneuver is necessary. The best is to anticipate with a correct trajectory for the most economic burn. Once in orbit of a body she should still have plenty of fuel remaining for future maneuvers.
The lander for its part is enjoying a bit less than 2 km/s, which is enough for most of the de-orbiting maneuvers in the system, and the orbital scanner is having 2.2 km/s available.
