Description
A cheap crewed rocket outfitted with basic science equipment. Some of its experiments are present in triplicate or even quadruplicate, to let you run the same experiment under multiple different conditions without having to get out and reset the equipment after each run.
Although mainly useful for suborbital flights, the Lizard is capable of reaching a low orbit if flown right. There’s very little room for error, though, and it requires tilting the rocket hard over right off the pad, before its airspeed builds up enough that its three aerodynamic fins keep it from going horizontal enough to get into orbit - and, even then, it requires almost all of the upper stage’s fuel in order to make orbit, so be careful not to go all the way and leave yourself with no fuel for deorbiting.
A stock rocket called Lizard. Built with 30 of the finest parts, its root part is mk1pod.v2.
