Description

A derivative of the Kerbal XXY nuclear powered crewed space exploration vehicle, the Kerbal XXY2 is shorter-legged, being intended for the heavy duty transportation of supplies and equipment to stations in Kerbin orbit.

Warranty void if used to buzz the control tower at KSC… or anywhere else for that matter.

A stock rocket called Kerbal XXY2. Built with 127 of the finest parts, its root part is mk1-3pod.

The main differences between the XXY2 and the earlier XXY are:

• the XXY2’s much-shorter lower core stage, as its design mission takes it only up to LKO to replenish space stations and send crew up and down, rather than going into high orbits or munar flybys.
• the XXY2’s large cargo module below the crew capsule, carrying a great deal of cargo and spare parts to use for replenishing a space station.

Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.11.1.
