Description
A nice little workhorse, the Kerbal 1-5© is just right for light space station construction, cheap temporary crew quarters, or even as an improvised escape capsule.
This model includes improved RCS and docking ports on both ends of the crew module, perfect for joining to another craft in space. The two different sizes of docking ports used allow the 1-5© to convert a Clamp-O-Tron port to a Clamp-O-Tron Jr., or vice versa. The upper stage can operate autonomously until its batteries run out, allowing it to dock to a different port, or even a different ship altogether.
WARNING: Neither the crew module nor the upper stage has any parachutes, so they can’t soft-land if deorbited - you’ll have to jump!
A stock rocket called Kerbal 1-5©. Built with 37 of the finest parts, its root part is mk1pod.v2.
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.10.1.
