Description
A stock rocket called Hound I. Built with 144 of the finest parts, its root part is probeStackSmall.
The first in a series of ore miners and carriers I built in a career-mode game a while back, netting me considerable savings in propellant costs by allowing me to mine ore (preferably from Minmus, for missions within the Kerbin system, due to its low gravity and large flat areas) and convert it to propellant at an orbital fuel depot, rather than having to pay extra funds to launch fuel, oxidiser, and monopropellant from Kerbin. Having a fleet of these ore mining/transport ships allowed me to launch light and fuel up in orbit, and the orbital fuel depots also provided a considerable extra margin of safety for craft that otherwise might not have enough fuel to return to Kerbin on their own.
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.7.0.
