Description
It’s an Acapello CSM… on a Koyuz launcher?! With SIX side boosters?!
A stock rocket called Hexacapoyuz. Built with 142 of the finest parts, its root part is LiquidEngineLV-T91.
Like the Acapoyuz, except with six boosters rather than four, and with the boosters grouped into two stages - four of the boosters asparagus-feed to the remaining two, and drop earlier than said remaining two (I recommend throttling the core stage down severely while ascending on the last two boosters, in order to conserve fuel and make sure the boosters run out before the core stage, not after). The added boosters give the Hexacapoyuz enough Δv to land on the Mun and return to Kerbin (although care needs to be taken with the touchdown on the Mun to keep the CSM from tipping over; I recommend having the RCS enabled for the final ascent and touchdown).
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.10.0.
