Description

A stock aircraft called FV22A. Built with 67 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark2Cockpit.

Another Whiplash-and-Nerv SSTO spaceplane. This one’s heavier, with RCS and docking ports for orbital rendezvous; it’s also fairly draggy and underpowered, having to climb several kilometers above sea level before it can start accelerating forward towards orbital speed. Even then, it tends to adopt a fairly shallow trajectory, needing a rather high pitch attitude in order to get its apoapsis above the atmosphere, and doesn’t have much fuel left by the time it finally gets into a stable orbit.

This was a fairly early SSTO spaceplane of mine (the 1.10.0 version mark in the details pane is an artifact of my having recently pulled the design out of storage and tweaked some details to improve its flyability; it was originally built many versions ago); I’ve gotten much better with practice.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.10.0.
