Description
This tailed delta wing aircraft’s twin afterburning turbofans allow it to carry its payload of science over great distances in dry mode, or to great speeds and heights in wet mode.
Features wing-mounted airbrakes for improved deceleration capability and a STEADLER Corp.™ Remote Guidance Unit™ for optional unkerballed operation.
Take care not to strike the engines on the runway during takeoff or landing, as they are very expensive and our accountant will drink our blood if we lose them (what does he do with that coffin, anyways?).
A stock aircraft called Dragonfly 2. Built with 41 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark2Cockpit.
Despite being able to exceed 800 m/s with ease (I’ve gotten it to 832 m/s in a cruise-climb through 10 km, and up to 870 m/s in a steep full-power dive from 25 km), it’s still remarkably docile at low speeds, thanx to its large wing area and ample control-surface area.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.10.0.
