Description
Ultra simple crewed spacecraft with just an engine, a fuel tank, a single strut, and a command seat?
Simple dirt cheap launcher to bring it to orbit for under 1,500 Funds?

Although the ChairSat Sb is already an incredibly-stripped-down craft, it still uses a large Thumper booster for its first stage despite having it substantially defuelled and derated. The S2b replaces the Thumper with a lighter, cheaper Hammer SRB, derates and defuels even that, and spends hours tweaking everything to squeeze out the last possible gram of performance without going over 1,500 funds.
And it works - with the help of a carefully-optimised trajectory and a pointier, less-draggy payload fairing, the S2b has (just barely!) enough Δv for a kerbal to ride it to orbit (given very careful trajectory management and near-perfect timing).
