Description
A large solid-fuelled first stage, consisting of seven Kickback SRBs clustered together, with an adapter on top for a size-2 upper stage, fins on the six outer Kickbacks for aerodynamic stability and control, and parachutes to allow a soft landing and recovery.
Obviously, this was made before size-2 SRBs were a thing.
A stock subassembly called Buphagus Ia. Built with 49 of the finest parts, its root part is Decoupler.2.
