Description

“The Aeris 4A is a spaceplane capable of reaching orbit, if flown correctly. The 4A-1 variant carries a small rocket to deploy once it gets there.

Demo satellite included.”

…ahem…

This spaceplane is a modification of the Aeris 4A stock craft. The stock Aeris 4A that comes with the game carries no payload other than itself; the 4A-1 carries a small satellite piggybacking on top of the aft fuselage, attached through a mated pair of Clamp-O-Tron Jr. docking ports.

Once in orbit, press 2 to decouple the payload from the Aeris; once the payload is a safe distance away from the Aeris, its antenna and solar panels can be deployed by pressing 1. The satellite can be used as a low-power relay, useful if you need to support a mission to the far side of some celestial body or whatever.

A stock aircraft called Aeris 4A-1. Built with 55 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark1Cockpit.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.9.0.
