The English Electric Canberra was the first jet-powered bomber used by the Royal Air Force. It was introduced in 1951 and the bomber variant was retired in 1972, but as a reconnaissance aircraft the Canberra remained in service with the RAF all the way to 2006! A licence-built copy, the Martin B-57, was also used by the US Air Force.

This replica is of the reconnaissance variant, which has the cockpit offset to one side so the pilot can look down more easily. It was made for GameplayReviewUK’s Community Challenge.
