Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.7.1.
The Island Cannon was built specifically for a single purpose: to launch a manned capsule from KSC to the island runway.
To Fly:
1) Hit AG1 to fire the gun!
2) At approximately apoapsis, activate SAS and set to prograde
3) At around 2000m altitude as the capsule rushes towards the island, hit AG 2 to deploy the Air Brakes (otherwise the parachute will break)
4) At 1000m-800m altitude, hit AG3 to deploy the chute. Your lucky Kerbal cannonball will gently land somewhere in the vicinity of the Island tower.
