Description

Note: I don’t have screenshots of the craft, so I used one from the Alpha-0. It’s pretty much the same, but has a parachute on top to rapidly touch down in biomes to gather science for contracts.
First, activate the rear parachute to slow down. Once your horizontal velocity is reduced enough, activate the forward chute. Use the engine to slow down further. Stuff may explode on touchdown, but not the important stuff.
A mod aircraft called Alpha Mk0a. Built with 30 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark1Cockpit.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.12.5.
