Description

ASROC (anti-submarine rocket) carrying a Mk403 torpedo as its final stage. Provided here as a subassembly with naval deck mount for easy attachment to warships. You will need to sort out the staging since this is not saved in subassemblies.
To use the torpedo separately, simply remove the rocket stage, battery and parachutes.
Staging:
- Decouple deck mount and ignite rocket
- Decouple booster and open chutes
- Decouple chutes and ignite Panther

Operational instructions:

ASROC
- Engage SAS in stabilization mode
- Throttle full
- Launch
- Climb to 1000 m
- Switch SAS to Target mode
- At 500m altitude stage to deploy chutes
- At splashdown stage to release torpedo
- Observe warhead impact and report damage assessment

Torpedo
- Engage SAS in target mode
- Throttle full
- Launch
- Observe warhead impact and report damage assessment
