Description

A stock station called Helix. Built with 499 of the finest parts, its root part is probeStackLarge.

Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.3.0.

4 part single launch station, after booster separation you are left with a 317 part space station which you can use as science, fuel and ore refinery station. It has plenty of docking options for ships or expansions.

Highest craft I constructed so far, it actually went through the roof of the VAB :)

As you can see in the last screenshot you don’t need to assemble the station as it looks kinda nice as one long pillar.

The launch wasn’t to stable at first so I removed all the fuel from the station and added a ton of struts. Without refueling I got this thing in a 115km orbit.
