The Bangerang is a science SSTO designed to go far away and then come back, but with less explosions than previous models. Not only does it have all the science instruments, it also carries a science lab for sciencing the sh*t out of everything. Also included in the second bay is a ISRU system to refuel the Bangerang, and with the ominously named claw, it can grab marauding asteroids and suck out their souls to use as fuel. This frightening feature has been tactfully left out of the press briefings by the KSP PR crew.
Warning: do not attempt landing on Tylo. Warranty void if claw used on crew
