Description
Kerbol 9 LASR (Low Altitude Stage Recovery)
Prototype of a 2 Stage Fully Reusable Lifter. The SRBs fall back into KSC and touch down safely for recovery.
Payload increased by 7 tons, compared to the regular Kerbol 9
Flight Manual is the same as Kerbol 9, with the exception that you have to start with the throttle at 0, so the SRBs do the work in the first 1500m.
After the SRBs burn, press the spacebar for staging and z
for maximum throttle. Then it’s the same as Kerbol 9.
A stock rocket called Kerbol 9 LASR Block 10 (Payload 24t). Built with 222 of the finest parts, its root part is HECS2.ProbeCore.
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.11.0.
