Description
This is a replica of a proposed Boeing Habitation module for the Lunar Gateway Station. I believe this module was proposed early in the development of the station, and is no longer being considered for construction. But I liked the shape anyway, so I built it.
It is launched atop a replica of the Atlas-V in 5-4-1 configuration. The module itself is 42 parts.
The Lunar Gateway Station is meant to be assembled in low Kerbin orbit, and then moved to a Mun orbit via the SLS upper stage, attached to the core module.
The other modules for the Lunar Gateway station can be found here as they become available.
An assembly drone is the best way to piece this station together. To keep the part count low, the station modules have neither probe control, nor RCS.
Here is a link to my Badger
assembly drone, if you do not already have a means of assembling space stations autonomously.
A stock rocket called Boeing B-Hab Module. Built with 119 of the finest parts, its root part is probeStackSmall.
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.11.2.
