I’ll rewrite this again… firefox, I love you, but I hate you.

An upscaled Kraken drive, this can accelerate this ship at around ~20g. Get it into space, doesn’t matter how. Decouple the docking port. right click the airbrakes at the bottom and pin them. Deploy them form the menu, then the slider is your throttle. Acceleration on my machine starts at 63, may be different for you. The top 2 airbrakes allow you to redock the drive shaft, switch to the shaft and retract the landing gear, switch back and extend the bottom airbrakes fully. Retract them once the shaft has gone as far down as it can, and then extend the top airbrakes. It SHOULD dock, but KSP can be a bit annoying here.
