I wanted a pure stock shuttle that was Mechjeb friendly and could carry a small rover for exploration, so this is what I came up with. Just a simple, reliable, easy to fly shuttle.

100km polar orbits are no problem, and the shuttle is easy to land pretty much anywhere on Kerbin. The first image shows the Mechjeb settings I used to launch to a polar orbit and one of the others shows the landing coordinates close to the crashed UFO. Don’t land with Mechjeb, just use it to get you started and to time your de-orbit burn… then disable it and land manually.
